Integration allows investors to compare lending options

Specialist property finance digital marketplace Brickflow has partnered with Upstix to add live funding options to the cash-buying platform, which lets investors find below-market-value properties to purchase at speed.

The integration means that buyers looking at properties on the Upstix investor platform can now compare the investment funding options available to them, searching Brickflow’s panel of more than 160 lenders against that exact listing. Lender names are not shown and the process remains fully managed by a Brickflow broker from enquiry through to completion.

Upstix can enable a cash offer within 24 hours, no chain and a completion date the seller chooses, while sellers typically accept around 80% of market value for the benefits of speed.

The partnership means that buyers no longer need to source finance separately once they have found a property.

Dual method approach

Upstix either buys properties directly or markets them to interested buyers through its investor platform on the homeowner’s  behalf. The same platform is also used to resell properties Upstix has bought itself.

Brickflow’s funding comparison is now available for both methods, whether they are buying a property listed for another seller or one from Upstix’s own portfolio.

Frazer Campbell, CRO at Brickflow, said: “We hear the same story from investors all the time: they find a deal that stacks, and then spend the next six weeks watching someone else complete on it because they were still waiting on finance to come through. That’s the moment manual loan sourcing costs people the most, not on a spreadsheet somewhere, but on the property they never got. Upstix has already taken that stress out of selling. We just wanted buyers to feel it too.”

Fred Jones, CEO at Upstix, said: “Once a seller works with Upstix, the traditional delays are taken out of the equation: the seller gets paid and isn’t left waiting on chains, finance, or anyone else.”
