Rely’s platform enabled four week completion

Specialist buy-to-let lender Rely, part of OSB Group, has highlighted a four-week turnaround in its latest case of delivering an instant offer for an urgent buy-to-let mortgage.

The company worked with broker firm Premier Finance & Mortgages to secure the offer for a landlord client who wanted to move from a standard variable rate and complete their remortgage urgently.

The owner-occupier, with a single buy-to-let property, was a higher-rate taxpayer with a strong credit profile, borrowing at around 65% loan-to-value. Using Rely’s lending platform, the case met the criteria for an automated valuation model (AVM) and progressed straight to offer once fees had been paid, completing four weeks later.

A quick, simple and efficient experience

Adrian Moloney, group lending distribution director at Rely, said: “We’re focused on making it easier for brokers to place business with us, and this case highlights how Rely’s lending platform can help deliver a quick, simple and efficient experience for both brokers and their clients.

“By combining technology with specialist lending expertise, we’re helping brokers secure positive outcomes for their clients while reducing administration and improving the experience for everyone involved.”

Pani Liondaris, senior mortgage manager at Premier Finance & Mortgages, said: “The client and I were both extremely pleased with the speed of the offer. The client was on an SVR rate and wanted to complete as soon as possible, so receiving an offer so quickly was a real benefit.”
