LH1 London has announced that all the apartments at the new residential development ‘Spinning Mill’ have sold in just 16 weeks.
The former textile mill will include 15 one-bedroom apartments and 70 two-bedroom apartments inside a historic building designed by architect George Woodhouse.
Renowned for its towering chimney which has dominated the local skyline for over one and a half centuries, high ceilings, and red brick façade, the development stands out amidst more simplistic designs nearby.
What the ‘Spinning Mill’ has to offer
Located on the banks of the Rochdale Canal, to the north east of Manchester city centre, this sought-after location is likely to be particularly appealing to the young professionals in the city.
The Economist recently reported that Manchester was acknowledged as the No.1 City for Liveability for 2022. These results highlight the increasing popularity among investors and those hoping to relocate from cities such as London.
Once the work is complete during the first quarter of 2023, apartments will aim to provide residents with stylish living accommodation, extensive views over Manchester’s skyline, and parking on site. The complex is only 10 minutes away from the city centre, offering residents an abundance of shops, cafes, and amenities to choose from.
Rayna Hunter, managing director and head of global sales at LH1 London, commented: “LH1 London are delighted to be involved in this prominent, historic development in the heart of Manchester. The truly authentic nature of Spinning Mill is evidenced through its carefully constructed interior design features with its exposed brickwork and original iron columns, adding a contemporary, yet exclusive feel to the development.”
“Spinning Mill is all about the space, both inside and out. Tucked away in the ‘Little Amsterdam’ region of the city, the apartments boast spectacular views over Manchester’s ever-developing skyline. The development offers a premium standard of living for the steady stream of young professionals flocking North to Manchester, as the next best alternative to London.”
“We are truly honoured to have Spinning Mill under our banner and look forward to seeing the development complete within the near future.”
