Clive Emson brings variety to spring sale

Clive Emson’s spring auction – the third of eight sales – will begin on April 30 and catalogue 150 lots.

This follows its successful milestone 200th auction in March, which sold land and property worth £22 million and achieved a 75% sale rate after cataloguing 150 lots.

Spring auction highlights include:

·         Three cottages on the River Exe at Bickleigh, Devon with 110 metres of river frontage and fishing rights has a freehold guide priced from £300,000 to £400,000.

·         A 5.36-acre development site in Faversham, Kent with permission for the building of nine houses has a freehold guide price of £2.25-£2.25 million.

·         A pair of 19th century former munitions stores with moats on a five-acre woodland plot at Gosport, Hampshire, have a £100,000-plus freehold guide price.

·         The historic Old Mint House, circa 1341, in the ancient Sussex village has a freehold guide price of £500,000 to £600,000 with other buildings.

·         A decommissioned metal water tower at Hadstock Essex has a freehold guide price of £15,000.

Clive Emson holds auctions at five locations every six weeks. The third sale of 2018 is in April and May, starting at 11am, at the following venues:

-          Kent & South-East London: Tuesday, May 1 at the Clive Emson Conference Centre, Detling Maidstone, Kent

-          West Country: Wednesday, May 2 at the St Mellion International Resort, Saltash

-          Hampshire & Isle of Wight: Thursday, May 3 at the Solent Hotel, Whiteley

-          Sussex & Surrey: Friday, May 4 at the Hilton Brighton Metropole, Brighton
