Allsop releases bumper residential catalogue for final auction of 2018

Allsop’s final residential auction of the year will see 270 lots auctioned at The Cumberland Hotel in London.

The catalogue of the auction – which takes place on December 13 – is now live, featuring a wide variety of investments, including 11 lots guided at £1 million-plus or more.

Lot 49, an attractive unbroken block of three ground-floor retail units and nine flats in Brixton, south London is the largest lot in the catalogue. The lot has already generated interest, having been in the same family for over 60 years. It has a guide price of £2.8 million-plus and an income of £161,280 per annum.

What’s more, 28 lots offered on behalf of housing associations make up 15% of the catalogue. This includes lot 9, a semi-detached property in Hackney comprising of one three-bedroom maisonette and a two-bedroom maisonette. The property is guided at £1.1 million-plus.

A total of 80 properties featured are located in London, with lot 20 among the most desirable. Located in Mayfair, this ground-floor, two-bedroom mansion flat of 1,463 sq ft is guided at £2 million to £2.2 million.

Additionally, lot 31, a single garage with access to electricity in Knightsbridge is to be offered at £40,000-plus. Lot 24, a top-floor mansion flat also in Knightsbridge, is offered at £675,000-plus.

Highlights across the country include lot 37 in Portsmouth. The freehold site with planning permission for six semi-detached houses and a detached coach house is guided at £675,000-plus. In addition, lot 90, a three-bedroom attractive mid-terrace house in a good city centre location in Brighton is guided at 350,000-plus.
