Investors, landlords and property enthusiasts will descend on London's ExCel on April 28 and 29 for the annual Property Investor & Homebuyer Show, which is free to attend.
After an eventful 12 months in the property sector, this year's event is a must-visit for those with an interest in investing in property, whether in the UK or overseas.
Visitors will be able to attend seminars and stands covering all the biggest industry issues from the stamp duty and buy-to-let tax changes to Brexit and its impact on the property investment sector.
A look at the event website confirms that the exhibitor ranks will include a broad mix of investment types.
UK Investment … The Powerhouse Locations!
Some of the UK’s leading estate agents will be in attendance presenting a mix of property from primary residences and second homes to buy-to-let investments.
While London will be represented, property from the West County to Scotland (plus all points in between) will also be available. The highest concentration of properties presented is expected to be that representing the M62 Axis Powers of Manchester and Liverpool.
Long haul 1 … Thailand
Property investment in South East Asia has enjoyed great success at recent editions of the show. This year, visitors will be given the opportunity to look closely at a selection of investments in Thailand.
The new styles of purpose-built student properties are one of the UK’s fastest growing property investment asset classes. They offer investment at an affordable level with attractive yields and returns.
Long haul 2 … Nigeria
Greater London is home to 1 million-plus expatriate and second generation Nigerians. Without a country-specific event scheduled for the UK for 2017, the ‘Nigeria Invest’ feature represents the only opportunity for the UK Diaspora to meet face-to-face with some of Nigeria’s leading developers and agents – and quiz them in the panel debates.
Back by popular demand…
The HMO and Innovation features that proved so popular last year return for a repeat performance. Property tech innovation will benefit from twice daily showcase presentations (theatre 4), while HMOs will be the subject of a daily – and likely to prove lively – panel debate.
An established highlight of the event is its seminar programme. Featuring presentations by a number of the top names in the property sector, many of the 75 sessions will be fully booked before opening day. For overseas property it provides a once a year opportunity to hear the views of several international commentators.
