Property investment firm turn to ex-Manchester City chief for new direction

The former Chairman of the Football Association, David Bernstein CBE, has been appointed chairman of the advisory board at property investment firm, Cogress.

Bernstein, who was also previously chairman of Manchester City football club and the Footbal Association, will start his new role with immediate effect.

He will now play a more hands-on position in pushing Cogress forward as a leader in the UK property investment industry, with a view to bolstering the company’s investment opportunities and community base.

“I’m delighted to be offered the chance to become more involved and chair the board during what promises to be an exciting time for the company and the investment sector,” said Bernstein.

“I’m confident that, due to Cogress’s business proposition, the company will continue to remain resilient, growing its investor base and offering strategic investment opportunities,” he added.

Having proven his mettle in a variety of industries, Tal Orly, CEO & founder of Cogress UK, said that the company are confident that Bernstein can help the firm take centre stage in the property industry and outperform its peers.

“At this turbulent time for the UK, it is reassuring to have David’s steady hand and experienced background at the helm of our board.”
