Knight Knox International has launched The Queen’s Brewery – a Grade II listed refurbishment project close to Manchester city centre, in partnership with Forshaw Land & Property Group.

Previously home to Manchester’s Hydes Brewery, the residential buy-to-let development - a 5260m² conversion project with part new-build - will comprise of 64 studios, 1, 2 and 3 bed apartments.

Once complete, the residence will be comprised of luxury apartments, in addition to providing private parking and bicycle storage for all residents, aiming to retain the unique architectural features which helped it earn its status as Grade II listed.

With a conversion value of approximately £8.5m, The Queen’s Brewery will be the 11th joint-venture development launched by Knight Knox International and Forshaw Land & Property Group, having previously enjoyed success with sites in Leeds, Bolton and Sheffield.

The launch of this development comes at a time when the property development sector is booming throughout the North West, with HSBC recently naming Manchester as one of the UK’s ‘Top 4 Buy-to-Let Hotspots’, and rental rates  are expected to grow to 36% by 2018.

The development is expected to be fully completed by spring 2016.
