A television channel dedicated to the world of property is launching later this month on Sky channel 238.

Launching on March 30, Property TV will bring a blend of entertaining and educational content about the property industry, renovation and home improvements.

The channel has a team of over 30 property industry professionals on board to help in the creation of programmes and the channel is believed to be the first of its type to have been partially funded through crowdfunding.

Among the existing programme content secured for broadcast are ‘Sarah Beeny’s Restoration Nightmare’, ‘The House of Bryan’ and ‘Don’t Ever Do This At Home’.  New content being uniquely created for the channel includes ‘Sue Elkington’s Renovation Challenge’, ‘Property Jump Start’, ‘B&B Rescue’ and ‘Home-alicious’.

The company behind the channel was founded by Ben Rogers and Michael Hammond. They were soon joined by Nicky Davis, a seasoned broadcaster whose channel launches have included Film 24.

“Information about property and the property markets can be life changing. The problem is that most people don’t know that knowledge is there and available for them to use to their advantage,” said co-founder Michael Hammond; “Property TV will change that.”
