George Clarke, best known for his Amazing Spaces property series on Channel 4, is seeking contributors for his latest venture.

The new show – which will also be broadcast on Channel 4 – will ‘celebrate the power of good architecture to transform unloved housing stock into exciting spaces in which to live’.

The show’s organisers ask: ‘Do you hate the house you live in? Is it ugly, dated, impractical? Have you got the money to renovate it but lack the 'know-how' to do a radical redesign?’

Clarke and an as yet unnamed ground-breaking British architect will help those chosen to transform their property.

Interested parties must have their own budget and desire a radical redesign of their home. The organisers are looking for projects that can be completed in 3-4 months and are particularly interested in talking to anyone who owns and ex-local authority property or 1930’s semi.

If you’re interested, contact Katja Macintosh on: uglyhouse@betty.co.uk or call: 0207 290 0548.
