The £75 million development will be completed over three phases and will be located on Adelphi Street on the bank of the River Irwell, within walking distance of Manchester city centre.

The 450,000 sq ft development will be made up of 580 apartments and townhouses, with phase one due to be completed in August 2016.

Knight Knox says Adelphi Wharf is set to include an on-site gym, underground parking, a concierge reception area, bicycle storage and landscaped gardens.

Martin Copeland, sales director at Knight Knox, said that the firm was delighted to be providing high quality residential property in Salford, an area which he says is set for a very exciting 2015 due to continued significant investment in to its regeneration.

Director of Fortis Lettings, the firm which will let and manage Adelphi Wharf in its entirety, Kieran Moore, said: “Fortis Developments has worked closely with Salford City Council and Urban Vision to ensure that the design and visual impact of Adelphi Wharf complements the area, whilst incorporating modern architecture along the city’s water front.

“A riverside walkway will be created to offer easy access to the waterfront, allowing residents to enjoy Salford’s surroundings with ease. Adelphi Wharf is an exciting project, which we expect the whole area to benefit from, enhancing the city’s growing reputation and breathing new life into this currently vacant site.”
