Buy-to-let developer Knight Knox International has announced the plans for its latest boutique student development.

The conversion project, Avalon Court, will be centrally located on Kent Street, nearby to both Nottingham Trent University and the University of Nottingham.

The £6.5 million, 30,000 sq ft project will comprise 95 studio apartments, as well as a laundry, lounge area and reception foyer.

Luxury amenities will include a residential gym, cinema room, SKY TV and secure bike storage.

Construction on the development will commence in February and it is scheduled to be completed in August, ready for the 2015-2016 academic year.

Kieran Moore, director of Fortis Developments Ltd, which will be working alongside Knight Knox International on Avalon Court, commented: “We are delighted to be working alongside Knight Knox in Nottingham once again. After working together on 14 projects, including the highly successful local developments, Bard House and Minerva House, the proven success of Knight Knox International in the student accommodation market gives us great confidence in the investment potential of Avalon Court.”
