A former judge on the BBC’s Dragon’s Den has launched a £500m property venute designed to help boost the property industry.

James Caan reportedly wants to use this cash fund to help property investors struggling to secure mortgage finance, according to reports in Property Mentor.

Caan wants to use his company, Hamilton Bradshaw, to provide investors capital backing enabling 12 property start-ups, all with unique USPs.

In addition to the cash injection, the ex-Dragon will also share his own knowledge and expertise with investors, in exchange for a stake in the 12 property firms, which will all be invited to share his offices in Mayfair.
