A 112-acre country estate named Ballamona on the Isle of Man is up for sale for £30million, it was revealed this week.

Located at the southern tip of the island, the estate has full planning consents in place, including permission for a 20,600 sq ft principal residence billed as the most prestigious new property to be built outside of London and the Home Counties.

Super prime property developer Richmond Square has appointed Knight Frank to handle the sale, with local support provided by Douglas-based agent Chrystals.

Knight Frank’s Country House director, James Crawford said the firm were delighted to have been tasked with the sale of the development.

“The Ballamona planning approval is unprecedented; satisfying every expectation of a super-prime house of world-class status. Ballamona sets a new standard across the North West and, of course, the Isle of Man remains a highly attractive location to wealthy overseas buyers,” he said.
