I have said it before and will say it again, I believe a lot of people are becoming property trapped and want to downsize buy smaller or for less and capitalise on their cash from their homes house but the stamp duty is to much to swallow because of the huge rise in property values so why don't you scrape stamp duty fro all those who do so, downsize or buy for less, and for people who are retired or of a certain age therefore freeing up larger family homes for the young family's moving up the property ladder surely this would create a great recycle in prprties
