Residium looks for property partners to drive expansion
A new student-living operator is looking to partner with property owners and organisations serving university communities as it expands after launching its first residence in Coventry, close to the University of Warwick.
Residium says it offers professionally managed accommodation, responsive support and access to services designed to help students make the most of university life. This is enabled through the company’s proprietary residential operating platform – Residium OS – which brings communications, maintenance services, events, career support and wellbeing initiatives together in one place.
For property partners, it says it offers professional day-to-day operation of their properties and greater visibility across occupancy, inspections, compliance, maintenance and performance. Residium receives an agreed share of the revenue or value created rather than a conventional management fee.
A commitment to improving life for students
Jo Esebame, CEO of Residium, said: “Our main goal is to make useful services, experiences, and opportunities more accessible to young people. Achieving that depends on the relationships surrounding the student living experience, which is why we want to work with partners that share our commitment to improving life for residents.
“It’s important to remember that student accommodation is often the first experience young people have of living away from home. Many are adapting to a new country or city. So, the more supportive services, relationships, and opportunities we can surround them with, the better. As our model grows, that network of support will continue to expand, providing even greater value to everyone involved”.
Following its West Midlands launch, Residium says it is already in discussions with additional prospective property, university and service partners.
