Two major property events join forces to ‘bring added value’

A Place in the Sun (APITS) has bought the Property Investor Show from Property Investor Media in a move that will bring together the UK’s two largest and longest-running property events in one venue at one time.

Following the acquisition, A Place in the Sun Live at Excel London (16th – 18th April 2027) and the NEC Birmingham (24th – 26th September 2027) will now also include the Property Investor show, which will retain its own distinct branding, floorplan and seminar theatre.

Clear economies of scale

APITS CEO Andy Bridge said: “Our respective events have been running for over 20 years so we’ve had a couple of decades for our respect and admiration to grow for what Nick, Mike and Kelly have achieved.

“Staging events does not get any easier and we are not the first to recognise the clear economies in running two events in one space. We have competed with Property Investor across the years and share some exhibitors, but the combined client base and audience create a strong opportunity to coalesce and develop.”

Property Investor Media managing director Nick Clark said the combining of the two shows will bring added value for exhibitors who want to engage with an audience outside of London and the southeast, as well as appealing to more property investors.

“Our visitors seek a broader content mix and I am confident that combining the complementary content of the UK’s two largest property events – and presenting them at two of the UK’s leading venues – will satisfy these requirements.

In addition to the two combined events, A Place in the Sun Live will also take place in Manchester Central in February and the RDS Dublin in October next year.
