GB Bank has completed a £1.5 million refinance for an experienced HMO investor, enabling them to continue expanding their portfolio.

The new deal refinanced an existing bridging loan onto a traditional buy-to-let term structure. It also included an equity release element to allow the borrower to unlock capital to reinvest in further portfolio expansion.

Adnan Ali, head of relationship management at GB Bank, said: “This was a great example of how we can support experienced landlords in strengthening and growing their portfolios. By refinancing onto a term facility and releasing equity, we were able to provide a solution that offers both stability and the flexibility to reinvest, enabling the borrower to continue scaling with confidence.”

Sy Nathan, broker at Dynamo, said: “In today’s complex lending landscape, high net worth clients demand more than off-the-shelf solutions, they demand a partner who can move fast, think creatively, and deliver. Whether it’s structuring a complex case others would walk away from, or securing a bespoke product that simply isn’t available on the open market, Adnan and team consistently deliver and they do it with speed and efficiency that our clients expect.”
