A trio of homes in the picturesque Derbyshire Dales are coming up for sale in Bond Wolfe’s next auction.

All three are in need of modernisation but are expected to generate considerable interest when they go under the hammer in the livestreamed auction on Thursday March 26.

Jonathan Hackett, consultant director at Bond Wolfe, says: “The property principle of ‘location, location, location’ applies to all three of these properties.

“They each offer the opportunity of creating a new home in the Derbyshire Dales for new owners, or valuable rental properties for buy-to-let landlords.

“They need varying amounts of modernisation work but, with comparatively low guide prices for the area, offer excellent value to potential bidders.

“We are expecting considerable interest when they come up for sale at the livestreamed auction on 26 March.”

Two are in the charming town of Darley Dale, just north of Matlock.

One is a three-bedroomed semi-detached house listed with a guide price of £155,000+ in the livestreamed auction. Refurbishment work appears to have been started but not completed, and the property needs renovation and modernisation throughout.

The second, close by, is a two-bedroomed mid-terrace property with a guide price of £100,000+.

With a small garden to the front and more gardens at outhouses to the rear, it has gas central heating and double glazing but does need modernisation throughout.

The third property is up the road in the historic market town of Ashbourne, the so-called ‘Gateway to Dovedale’. It’s a three-bedroomed double fronted end-terrace house with a guide price of £195,000+.

Hackett adds: “In the case of all three of these properties, offers in excess of the guide price may be considered prior to the auction.”

The Derbyshire Dales trio will be among score of lots appearing in Bond Wolfe’s next auction which is due to start at 8.30am on March 26.

The auction will be livestreamed via Bond Wolfe’s website with remote bidding by proxy, telephone or internet.
