“With so many new jobs being created and continued inward investment, the appetite for quality rental homes shows no sign of slowing” she says.

“For investors, Manchester represents that rare sweet spot: affordable entry prices, high yields, and long-term growth potential.

“It’s a city built on innovation, regeneration, and confidence, and that’s exactly what makes it such an attractive place to invest.”

Marshall-Roberts sayslarge-scale transport improvements, thriving employment hubs, and the development of key districts such as Ancoats, Deansgate, and Salford Quays, Manchester have produced reliable capital appreciation.

“Unlike London, Manchester still offers affordable entry prices paired with exceptional demand from renters, delivering some of the strongest yields in the market” she insists.

“As a northern hub for technology, finance, and the creative industries, Manchester’s economy continues to flourish, attracting young professionals from across the UK and beyond.

“The city’s growth is being fuelled by a booming tech and creative scene, supported by a local economy that’s forecast to grow 2.2% annually through to 2027, one of the fastest in the country.

“Additionally, the Greater Manchester 10-year plan also aims to bolster this momentum, with commitments to create tens of thousands of new jobs and drive further investment into the region.

“This forward-thinking strategy gives investors confidence that Manchester’s growth isn’t slowing down any time soon.”
