Sykes Holiday Cottages has partnered with Landal, a leading holiday park operator, to strengthen its holiday park offering.

Travellers will now be able to book more than 1,200 properties across 23 Landal parks in England, Wales, and Scotland through the Sykes website starting this month.

All parks will feature a variety of onsite amenities such as hot tubs, games rooms, play areas, restaurants and pools. The selection of properties will range from rustic style lodges to luxury accommodation options.

Landal was founded in the Netherlands in 1954 and now offers more than 260 destinations in key markets such as the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, Switzerland and the UK.

The holiday park brand focuses on providing holiday breaks in nature and creating memorable experiences where travellers can reconnect with their surroundings.

Since its UK launch in 2017, it has grown to offer holidays at 23 destinations, including Yorkshire, Northumberland, East Lothian and Wales.

James Shaw, chief commercial officer at Sykes Holiday Cottages, says: “Landal already delivers high-quality breaks to holidaymakers across the UK, but this partnership allows them to benefit from our extensive reach. We’ll open their experiences up to Sykes’ large and growing customer base.

“We believe holiday parks are a natural complement to our existing portfolio, and they will be a key area of focus as we continue to grow and evolve.”

Jeremy Hipkiss, managing director at Landal UK, adds: “This partnership helps us bring our parks to an even wider audience across the UK. Through Sykes, we reach guests who value choice, quality and a break in nature.”

Sykes Holiday Cottages is a B Corp certified business, recognising the positive contribution it makes to its people, the planet and the communities it serves.

Last year, Sykes’ parent company, Forge Holiday Group, also announced plans to invest more than £150 million in developing its UK portfolio, technology platform and customer and owner services over three years.
