Three homes that have all been vacant for decades but have not yet been on the market are to appear in Bond Wolfe’s next auction.

The freehold houses in Wednesbury, Oldbury and Smethwick will each have a guide price of £50,000+ in the livestreamed auction on Wednesday December 10.

Gurpreet Bassi, chief executive at Bond Wolfe, explained that the attractive guide prices reflected the fact that all three properties required clearance and refurbishment.

He says: “All three of these properties have been vacant for some time, resulting in them being fairly cluttered and needing modernisation. This makes each one of them a really good opportunity for a developer to invest or buyers looking for a DIY project.”

The lot at Wednesbury is a three-bedroomed, end-terraced house standing back from the road behind a driveway, with front and back gardens. There is a hall, two reception rooms, a kitchen and understairs cupboard on the ground floor, a landing, three bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs, with gas central heating and double glazing throughout.

The lot at Oldbury is a four-bedroomed, mid-terraced property with a double frontage and gardens front and back. It has a hall, two reception rooms, kitchen, bathroom with toilet, rear lobby and separate toilet downstairs, a landing and four bedrooms upstairs, with gas central heating and double glazing throughout.

And the lot at Smethwick in a three-bedroomed, semi-detached house with a driveway, garage and gardens outside, that might be suitable for development, subject to planning permission. It has a hall, two reception rooms and a kitchen downstairs, with a landing, two bedrooms, a box room and bathroom upstairs, with gas central heating and double glazing throughout.

The Black Country homes will be among scores of lots appearing in Bond Wolfe’s next auction which is due to start at 8.30am on Wednesday 10 December.

The auction will be livestreamed via Bond Wolfe’s website with remote bidding by proxy, telephone or internet.
