Investor-developer Bentry Capital has appointed global agents Savills and CBRE to lead the sales at Angel Village, its £100m (GDV) flagship London Zone 1 development in the heart of Islington, ahead of the highly anticipated sales launch next year.

Located in the heart of Clerkenwell, Angel Village is a gated development that will comprise of 130 design-led homes, offering a mixture of one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments. Amenities will include an onsite concierge and secure underground parking. There are 88 homes in Phase 1, with prices to start from £525,000.

Situated on a 1.7-acre site just five minutes’ walk from Angel tube station, Angel Village is an office to residential conversion set behind a series of grand arches offering a peaceful, leafy enclave. Bentry Capital is working with Ademchic luxury interior architects to cleverly reimagine the space to create modern, light-filled homes. Bentry Capital’s in-house contractor Mellior Group is overseeing the construction allowing for full control over the process and end product.

As Bentry Capital’s flagship London development, it will be the first opportunity for Londoners to see the high standards and premium specification of new homes that the boutique developer is delivering across its £500m (GDV) portfolio in London and regional cities.

Amy Davis, Director in the London Residential Development team at Savills, comments: “Angel Village is one of the most anticipated new launches in Central London, offering design-led homes, gated security and exceptional connectivity within a vibrant, established neighbourhood. Located moments from Angel and Clerkenwell, the development offers easy access to the City while being surrounded by world-class dining, cultural landmarks, and leading universities.

“This development presents an outstanding opportunity to secure a home in one of the capital’s most desirable boroughs at a relatively accessible price point. Early interest is already strong, and we’re proud to have worked closely with Bentry on their first London launch. We look forward to making it a success.”

Rian Strauss, Director, CBRE comments: “This is an exciting appointment for us, Angel & Islington is an area we know well and one that’s always in high demand. With the wider area encompassing Kings Cross, the City & Silicon roundabout, all home to top universities and large employers, we anticipate strong demand from students (helped by bank of mum and dad), young professionals and local downsizers. The addition of parking and gated gardens, makes the offering at Angel Village a real rarity for City Road.”

Further information on the sales launches of Angel Village will be released in due course. For further information, please contact [email protected] or call 0203 137 0683.
