Clive Emson Auctioneers have unveiled the firm’s largest auction by lot numbers in 13 years.
There are 191 land and property lots across southern England for the online auction ending on September 18.
Managing director James Emson says: “Instructions to list came in thick and fast for our sixth auction of the year – the last time we had this many lots for a catalogue was back in 2012.
One of the September highlights is a substantial residential, commercial and grazing land complex at Wentfield, Gravesend Road, Wrotham, Sevenoaks, Kent (lot 82).The site, covering nearly 12 acres, is guided at £1.5m – £1.8m and has a total combined income of £112,400 pa.
In the same county, guided at £200,000-plus, a period lodge house in cruciform shape, with Dutch gables, is called East Lodge and is at Chart Road, Ashford (lot 181).
There are three lots in East Anglia, including The Bull Inn at Cavendish, near Sudbury in Suffolk, guided at £250,000 – £275,000 (lot 129).
Guided at £190,000 – £200,000, a former Salvation Army citadel with land is at 33 Royal Sussex Crescent, Eastbourne, East Sussex (lot 100).
With vaults and metal bar windows, a former bank premises at 5 London Road, East Grinstead, West Sussex, has a guide price of £140,000 – £150,000 (lot 118).
A property arranged as a house of multiple occupation in the cathedral city of Winchester, Hampshire, is to be auctioned with a guide price of £270,000 – £290,000 (lot 107). The five-bedroom freehold property at 92 Imber Road is currently let at £17,940 pa and could, according to the auctioneers, be potentially fully let at £29,580 pa.
A one-bedroom character detached property near Beaminster, 15 miles northwest of Dorchester, Dorset, is guided at £240,000-plus (lot 125).
School House at Chedington “still has many original features from its previous historic use as a former schoolhouse, which has been in the same family for over six decades as a family home and now requires a complete program of refurbishment”. The property comes with vacant possession and “will include many chattels that will be left in the property for clearing by the purchaser”.
A block of seven apartments for investment at West Point, 1 Vernon Square, Ryde, Isle of Wight, has a guide price of £795,000-plus and is let at £62,340 per annum (lot 145).
Guided at £200,000-plus, a former church and naval club at 58 South Street, Exeter, Devon, with a full-size dance floor and raised stage (lot 108).
In the sought-after Cornish holiday resort of St Ives, cleared land with permission to build a terrace of five residences and rear gardens, is guided £325,000 – £350,000 (lot 39).
