The Kyero 2025 Annual Buyer Survey has revealed that 89% of buyers seeking property in Spain plan to spend under €500,000.

The figures are mirrored by on-the-ground data from Spanish homebuilder Taylor Wimpey Espana which reveals that British property buyers spent an average of €490,000 over the course of 2024 and the first seven months of 2025.

Kyero’s data further shows that 82% of buyers already know their target region, while Taylor Wimpey España’s buyers show an overwhelming preference for that region being the Costa del Sol (at 82% of all Britons who purchase homes from the firm). 63% of all Taylor Wimpey España’s British buyers also show a preference for properties on or close to golf courses, with properties near the beach also proving popular.

In line with this demand, Taylor Wimpey España has just launched a brand-new development between Mijas and Fuengirola, close to both the beach and the excellent Cerrado del Águila, Chaparral and Mijas golf courses. Set in a quiet area but with all the conveniences of daily life close by, the homes are well located for Malaga Airport, just 28km away.

Known as Valley Views, the development includes two-bedroom apartments and three-bedroom duplexes with wonderful sea and mountain views, along with a sizeable communal pool and communal gardens. Facing southeast and southwest, the 54 spacious homes are filled with natural light all day long, with generous patio windows that seamlessly integrate the living area with the terrace.

Rated ‘A’ for their energy efficiency, the Valley View homes have been designed with sustainability in mind. The homes feature aeo-thermal heating, double glazing, pre-installation for electric vehicle charging, LED lighting and a range of other eco-conscious elements. Meticulous attention to detail is evident throughout, from their fully fitted kitchens with appliances to the fitted wardrobes in the bedrooms. The first phase of homes at the new development also include underground parking and a storage room – perfect for bulky items such as suitcases and golf clubs.

Homes at the exclusive gated community are priced from €339,000 plus VAT and according to sales and marketing director Marc Pritchard: “Ideal for families seeking primary or secondary residences, as well as for investors, homes at Valley Views deliver the ideal balance of quality, location and affordability. We anticipate keen interest and strong sales.”
