Estate agency Hamptons has announced a new exclusive partnership with French agency Leggett Prestige.

Hamptons – part of the Connells group in the UK – has been in partnership with Leggett Immobilier for over 12 years and are now extending this partnership to include Leggett Prestige. The high-end luxury properties available through Leggett Prestige, as well as the substantial offering of properties already available through Leggett Immobilier, will now be available to Hamptons’ clients both in the UK and across its international network.

For Leggett and its French clients, the partnership provides access to Hamptons’ UK property and services, and connections in 40 countries.

Leggett plays an in instrumental role in the real estate industry in France and this partnership will give Hamptons clients access to Leggett’s 650 agents and 20-plus years of national and international expertise.

Leggett is the leading estate agency in the French second-home sector with 7,500 properties for sale across France. The Leggett Prestige portfolio contains a wide range of outstanding, high-end properties including family chateaux, country estates, luxury villas, vineyards and equestrian estates of all sizes, and a wide range of alpine ski properties.

Leal Ignatius, head of Hamptons International, says: “We are delighted to welcome Leggett Prestige to the Hamptons network. Having been in partnership with Leggett Immobilier for over 12 years, we are thrilled to extend this partnership and be able to offer our clients access to the high-end luxury properties available through the Prestige arm of Leggett. France is a key player in the Hamptons international network; it’s an area of high demand amongst many Brits, particularly young families, retirees, and people looking for an additional holiday home abroad.

“The exclusive partnership with Leggett Prestige dovetails seamlessly with the launch of Hamptons Private Office – a specialised department that caters to our ultra-high net worth clientele. This exclusive department serves ultra-high net worth buyers and sellers globally, offering a bespoke service that comprehensively addresses their property requirements. These discerning clients typically possess diverse international property portfolios, making it a logical and strategic move to extend our high-end luxury property services to France through Leggett Prestige.”

Trevor Leggett, chairman of Leggett International Real Estate, adds: “We are thrilled to be joining the Hamptons International network. We bring the world’s finest chateaux, ski chalets, Parisian apartments and Mediterranean villas to the table. Not only that, but our 650 bilingual agents have a local knowledge that is invaluable to overseas buyers. Whether you are buying or selling property in France we look forward to offering you our award-winning service.”
