A double fronted shop located on the main retail street in Wolverhampton city centre with extra space at the rear and above is appearing in Bond Wolfe’s next auction.

The freehold vacant property in central Wolverhampton will have a guide price of £315,000+ in the livestreamed auction on Thursday February 6.

Ian Tudor, commercial auctions director at Bond Wolfe, says: “This property comprises a double fronted shop with a central entrance leading to a large retail area. There are a number of rear stores which could easily be incorporated into the retail area, and stairs lead to a first floor room, with a second room containing a kitchen unit and a toilet room.

“These premises, which are suitable for a variety of alternative uses subject to planning permission, are located in a prime position on Wolverhampton’s main retail shopping street. Nearby operators include B&M, Marks and Spencer and Lupo Lounge, along with a healthy mix of other local and national operators.

“The property is close to both the bus and newly refurbished train station and there are a number of public car parks nearby.”

The space includes an existing retail area of 597 sq ft, with rear stores totalling another 813 sq ft, and 346 sq ft on the first floor.

Bond Wolfe is marketing the opportunity as joint agents with Michael Tromans, and vacant possession is offered on completion of the sale.

The property will be among scores of lots appearing in Bond Wolfe’s next auction which is due to start at 8.30am on Thursday February 6.

The auction will be livestreamed via Bond Wolfe’s website with remote bidding by proxy, telephone or internet.
