Allsop, the UK’s largest property auction house, has released the catalogue for its upcoming residential auction, offering 288 lots of which 11 are guided at £1 million or more.
The catalogue features a wide range of residential and mixed-use investment and development opportunities across the UK, including a freehold end of terrace building comprising nine self-contained flats in Sydenham, guided in excess of £2.35 million.
As a result of the significant volume of lots, Allsop is holding the auction over a two-day period, which will be its 12th and final residential auction of the year. This auction sale follows its latest residential auction in November, which raised over £37.1 million from the sale of 85 lots. In the year-to-date, Allsop has raised more than £565 million from residential auctions.
Richard Adamson, residential managing partner and auctioneer at Allsop, says: “While the recent UK budget has given investors plenty to consider, with Christmas around the corner, there are large numbers of motivated sellers active in the market with buyers equally keen to deploy capital before year-end. As a result, we’re looking forward to another very competitive sale to round up an excellent year for Allsop’s auctions business that will set our clients up to take advantage of what promises to be a brighter year ahead.”
Auction highlights include:
- Knightsbridge, London – a freehold mid terrace mews house, guided from £1.5m+
- Clapham, London – a freehold semi-detached building with rear garden and outhouse, guided from £1.4m+
- Roehampton. London – a freehold Victorian detached mansion building with garage, benefitting from two planning consents and guided from £1.6m+
