Watling Real Estate and Graham + Sibbald have been appointed to market a landmark central Birmingham hotel and roof top restaurant, which entered administration last month.

Joint administrators Richard Easterby, Andrew Andronikou and Nick Simmonds of Quantuma Advisory Ltd were appointed on July 12 over MSHA Global Investments Ltd, trading as The Cube Hotel.

The hotel and restaurant, situated on levels 7, 23, 24 and 25 of the iconic Cube development, remain open and fully trading while specialist advisors from Watling Real Estate and Graham + Sibbald seek a purchaser for the business and assets as a going concern.

Watling director Chris Davies says: “This is a rare opportunity to acquire a prime city centre hotel and well established restaurant in a landmark building.”

Graham + Sibbald’s hotel team says the building offers branding opportunities and the potential to enhance trading significantly, capitalising on the panoramic views across Birmingham and the outside terraces at level 25.

The opportunity comprises a 52 bedroom hotel with extensive city views, a 180 cover Marco Pierre White branded restaurant, a roof top bar along with private dining and function rooms.

The agents are selling the long leasehold interest with offers in the region of £12m for the entirety.
