A property consultancy says Birmingham has “untapped potential” for real estate investment.

Fisher German – which has just opened an office in the city – says: “Birmingham is a key city where we have identified a lot of untapped potential, and our central Birmingham office has put us in the perfect location to grow our influence there. When we moved to Colmore Row in the heart of Birmingham, 70 staff moved from our Harborne office and we are continuing to look for talented individuals to join the team as we  continue to grow.

“Whilst we have been active around Birmingham for around 30 years from our offices in a number of surrounding counties, central Birmingham’s highly accessible location made it a desirable place to expand our West Midlands operations from and we are committed to our work in the city.”

Fisher German’s Birmingham city centre office has been in operation since November 2023, and claims that in that time it has seen great success, having won major contracts with Midlands-based companies as a direct result of having a presence in the city centre.

Key services such as commercial agency, commercial property management, investment, valuation, business rates, town planning, sustainable energy, telecoms and building consultancy services are all represented as part of a multi-discipline office.

Andrew Bridge, managing partner at Fisher German, adds: “Our ambition of becoming a truly multi-disciplinary, farm-to-city firm is being realised, with our clients benefitting from the incredibly broad range of expertise we have within our company.

“And we are not stopping there – we are reviewing our office spaces and looking at new opportunities to boost our presence in city centre locations even further, with our London office set to relocate to a significantly larger office space in the autumn.

“It’s great to celebrate the success we’ve achieved in Birmingham alongside some of our key clients and suppliers, and we’re excited to mark even more successes in the future as we look to take Fisher German to new heights.”
