A Scottish property investment specialist is launching what he calls “an innovative new course, designed specifically to encourage property investment and entrepreneurialism leveraging the tools to help build a property portfolio in Scotland.”

Steven Clark, founder of This Is Property, says: “With Scotland’s property market demonstrating resilience and growth amidst broader UK trends, there’s never been a better time to explore the opportunities available. With soaring rental rates outpacing the wider UK market, Scotland presents a lucrative arena for savvy investors and homebuyers alike. Now more than ever is the time to consider property investment, or to just even explore how achievable it really is.

“My own career has been shaped by transformative power of property investment. After transitioning from the oil and gas industry, property investment allowed me to find a better work life balance.  As we launch our new event offerings, we’re confident that delivering an introduction to property that’s affordable for those seeking guidance on how to enter the market to seasoned investors looking to refine their strategies.”

Clark says that against the backdrop of recent government data indicating a 4.8% increase in average house prices in Scotland, the course is guiding clients towards promising opportunities.

Scotland is also benefitting from both growth and stability in an ever-evolving market this year. Businesses are the backbone of Scotland’s economy and a major driver of wealth. According to Scottish Enterprise, there are 364,310 private sector enterprises in Scotland, including 361,875 small and medium-sized businesses.

Led by industry experts with practical experience, attendees will gain insights into effective project management, creative budgeting, architectural design, and maximising profitability.

A statement from This Is Property says: “By demystifying the property market and removing taboos surrounding investment – such as requiring significant financials upfront, having to ‘come from a wealthy background’, or the client climate being perceived as ‘too risky’ – ‘The Awakening’ empowers participants to seize opportunities, realise their potential, and kick-start a new career – no matter their background.

“Established in 2020, This Is Property has been empowering individuals with the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in property investment through a combination of in-person workshops, online events, podcasts, and social media platforms. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced investor, This Is Property welcomes everyone to join their community and take the first step towards financial freedom.”

Scheduled for April 20 and 21 at The Village Hotel in Edinburgh, ‘The Awakening’ is a comprehensive two-day workshop tailored to individuals eager to explore the world of property investment. Priced at an introductory rate of £97, it claims to offer “a broad overview of property investment, equipping guests with the knowledge, tools, and strategies essential to building success. Delegates will also learn the importance of mindset first-hand from seasoned property expert, Steven Clark, as he shares real examples and lessons learned about the highs and lows of investing.”

Clark himself adds: “Scotland is a breeding ground for entrepreneurs, and I would personally love to see more likeminded people across the country change their future, and see the possibilities property investment hold, and how achievable it really could be for them. I wish something like this existed for me when I was starting out.”
