From executive homes to single-bedroom flats, an enormous range of homes feature in Bond Wolfe’s 190-lot live-streamed auction this Wednesday.

A guide price of £400,000 represents a substantial saving on current market values for a four-bedroomed semi-detached house in the Birmingham suburb of Moseley. The house is a vacant extended property sitting opposite historic Highbury Park. It is laid out with two reception rooms, a kitchen with dining area and a WC on the ground floor, with four bedrooms and a family bathroom upstairs.

Along with gas central heating and UPVC double glazing, it has a private rear garden, driveway parking and a garage.

Gurpreet Bassi, chief executive of Bond Wolfe, says: “This is typical of the excellent value potential bidders can find in our upcoming auction, whether it is a large home in one of Birmingham’s most select suburbs or a traditional terrace house.”

Another large attractive home is in Sutton Coldfield, a substantial five-bedroomed detached house with guide price of £250,000. A link-detached property – connected to the house next door by a shared garage wall – it has been extended to the side and rear, it stands back from the road behind a driveway, front garden and tandem garage.

The ground floor has a hall with a WC off, a study, three reception rooms, a breakfast kitchen and utility room. Upstairs are five bedrooms and a family bathroom with WC. The master bedroom has an ensuite shower room and WC.

A single-bedroom flat in a city centre apartment building is listed with a guide price of £99,000. It’s a vacant leasehold apartment on the 11th floor, with an assigned parking space and it offers a hall with two store cupboards, a reception room/kitchen with balcony access, a bedroom and bathroom with WC. Double glazing and electric heating are fitted and the property offers 24-hour concierge service and residents’ gym.

It’s within walking distance is the city centre, Birmingham New Street Station, The Mailbox and Birmingham Library and there are 104 years remaining on the 125-year lease, ground rent is £150 per annum and there is a service charge of £1,400 per annum.

Across the city is a three-bedroomed semi-detached house at Selly Oak, with a guide price of £50,000. With a garage and gardens front and back, it currently has a hall, two reception rooms, kitchen, passageway and a WC downstairs, with three bedrooms and a shower room with WC upstairs.

Gas central heating and UPVC double glazing are fitted but the house is in need of modernisation. In addition it could be suitable for development to the rear subject to obtaining the necessary planning consents.

Over in Hall Green, a three-bedroomed semi-detached house has a guide price of £150,000. With gravel to the front and gardens at the rear, it has two reception rooms and a kitchen on the ground floor with the three bedrooms and bathroom with WC upstairs. Redecoration is needed but gas central heating and double glazing are fitted.

The Birmingham properties are among 191 lots that are appearing in Bond Wolfe’s next auction, which will start at 8.30am on Wednesday 27 March.
