Savills has strengthened its European residential network with the acquisition of Verbier Hospitality SA, better known as Verbier Location.

Founded by Jürgen Taudien in 1991, Verbier Location specialises in holiday rentals in Verbier and provides a full service offering for owners looking for rental and property management.

The acquisition, part of Savills’ planned residential expansion across Europe, brings a new service line to the Savills Ski network which comprises six fully branded Savills offices and two associates across the Alps.

Verbier Location will continue to operate alongside the existing Savills office in Verbier, which opened in 2018, enabling a fully integrated sales and seasonal rentals platform for clients.

Jeremy Rollason, head of Savills Ski, says: “Jürgen and his experienced team are well-established and highly respected in the Verbier market and will bring valuable expertise and market knowledge to our existing sales business. This acquisition means that we can now extend both property management and dedicated rentals as part of a full package of property services to our clients in this important Swiss ski resort.”

Taudien himself adds: “Savills will add precious international knowhow and real estate expertise to our existing business. I am very excited about this new partnership which will open new opportunities for the benefit of all our customers, property owners, service partners and my devoted team at Verbier Location.”
