Manchester apartments sell out in record-breaking 16 weeks

LH1 London has announced that all the apartments at the new residential development ‘Spinning Mill’ have sold in just 16 weeks.

The former textile mill will include 15 one-bedroom apartments and 70 two-bedroom apartments inside a historic building designed by architect George Woodhouse.

Renowned for its towering chimney which has dominated the local skyline for over one and a half centuries, high ceilings, and red brick façade, the development stands out amidst more simplistic designs nearby.

Located on the banks of the Rochdale Canal, to the north east of Manchester city centre, this sought-after location is likely to be particularly appealing to the young professionals in the city. 

The Economist recently reported that Manchester was acknowledged as the No.1 City for Liveability for 2022. These results highlight the increasing popularity among investors and those hoping to relocate from cities such as London. 

Once the work is complete during the first quarter of 2023, apartments will aim to provide residents with stylish living accommodation, extensive views over Manchester’s skyline, and parking on site.
