Property and technology investment firm, Convivia, has become the new shirt sponsor of Championship side Queens Park Rangers - better known simply as QPR.
A three-year deal that will display the brand on the front of QPR’s home and away strips has been signed, with Convivia acting as sole principal partner.
Roy Ledgister, QPR supporter and chief executive officer of Convivia, said: “As a lifelong QPR fan, signing this new sponsorship deal is a genuine honour. Aside from my passion for the Club, I have strong connections to the local area and as a brand, we are fully committed to supporting the community and encouraging individual progression and development, regardless of background or income.”
He added: “The team and I look forward to working with QPR over this next three-year term and in being part of the Club and its supporter network.”
Convivia’s vision and values
Convivia work alongside local authorities and housing associations to help make a positive change to affordable UK housing.
In order to provide homes for low-income tenants in the UK, Convivia says it is committed to pricing luxury homes at an affordable rate.
It already has five budlings under its group structure across the UK and an equity investment deal worth hundreds of millions.
Euan Inglis, commercial director of QPR, said of the sponsorship deal: “Roy is a hugely inspirational individual. Not only will the club benefit through the partnership with Convivia and Roy, but we are already discussing how QPR in the Community Trust can tap into Roy’s leadership and motivational skills and the work he does in inspiring youngsters from disadvantaged backgrounds to be the best that they can be."

A changed scheme on the English Riviera
The above exciting news comes straight after the property and investment firm announced that its site in Torquay, Devon will be developed into luxury affordable homes.
Initially, the site was set to be developed into a luxury aparthotel, but after switching focus to the public sector in July 2021, and securing an equity investment deal, plans changed.
The property development, which goes by the name of Halcyon, plans to open at the start of 2023.
Each home aims to enhance personal development and physical well-being by providing residents with cutting-edge technology and communal facilities.
Located a short walk from Torquay’s marina, a host of water sports, restaurants, and facilities can be enjoyed by future residents.
Each of the 42 one and two-bedroom apartments will be completed to a high specification, in line with Convivia’s ‘Mayfair design’ standard.
Roy Ledgister concludes: “In pivoting 100% of our focus to the public sector, we felt it was only right to transform Halcyon into affordable homes, but this doesn’t mean the finish of the building will be compromised. Like all other Convivia sites, Halcyon will benefit from our unique procurement model and proven design methodology, which means it will represent our ‘gold standard’ and deliver luxury accommodation for all tenants.”
