Radcliffe-on-Trent is set for 280 ‘quality’ new homes courtesy of housebuilder Spitfire Homes, after it acquired a site with outline planning consent.

Proposals for the new developments would see the delivery of a range of stylish one-to-five-bedroom homes, suitable for professionals, families, couples, downsizers and first-time buyers alike. The proposals feature 30% affordable housing and Spitfire says it will deliver ecological enhancements to the area, with CIL payments and community levies paid to the local council to support the community infrastructure. 

A highly sought-after area due to its semi-rural position, benefitting from a wealth of amenities and its close proximity to the centre of Nottingham, Newark-on-Trent, Loughborough and Derby, Radcliffe-on-Trent is connected by excellent transport links, including the A46, M1 and rail links from Nottingham, meaning buyers or investors can enjoy ‘an ideal lifestyle, based in a peaceful and attractive rural setting while maintaining connectivity’.

The above will represent Spitfire’s debut development in the Nottinghamshire area, and a reserved matters planning application is due to be submitted in the coming months.

“Radcliffe-on-Trent is a desirable village with significant buyer demand. Spitfire’s stylish range of homes will offer considered layouts designed for modern living and will fit well into this charming and attractive village setting.
