Fixflo and Spike Global have formed a partnership to deliver a property communication and maintenance management solution for BTR residents and property managers.
The new partnership aims to deliver an enhanced resident experience and a more efficient building operation.
The companies behind the collaboration
Bournemouth based Spike Global is a resident engagement and building management software provider, while Fixflo is located in London and is a specialist repairs and maintenance management software provider.
Fixflo has listed the benefits of their integration partnership, which include that residents can report repairs through their Spike Living portal at any time and place. Fixflo has also noted that repairs will be planned, scheduled and carried out much faster as well as residents being kept informed at all times.
Features of the integration
The integration works by residents being prompted to provide all necessary details about the maintenance issue and this will allow enabling property managers to diagnose issues accurately and solves the issue of back-and-forth communication with residents.
Residents will be able to report a repair in 40-plus languages which will cater to Britain’s multicultural society. The portal will allow direct communication between residents and property managers and notify residents about upcoming maintenance events and progress on reported issues.
The new partnership between Fixflo and Spike Living enables residents to manage everything within the Spike Living portal, from communicating with other residents to reporting a repair, getting notified about upcoming maintenance events, and managing deliveries and visitors.
Simon Bushell, director at Fixflo, commented: "While repairs are rarely welcomed by residents, they are great opportunities for building operators to impress residents with a prompt, intuitive and transparent experience. With Fixflo, residents can report a repair through their Spike Living portal anytime, anywhere, using 40+ languages."
"They can also be kept in the loop of how the issue progresses through their property manager's schedule. Here at Fixflo, we are excited about this new partnership and helping building operators and property managers manage their portfolio more efficiently while enhancing the resident experience."
Jeremy Heath-Smith, chief executive officer at Spike Global, added: “We are excited to be partnering with Fixflo, bringing together Spike’s leading resident engagement and building management software with Fixflo’s award-winning maintenance management solution. This will enable property managers to plan, schedule and carry out a repair much faster, whilst ensuring residents are kept up-to-date and informed at all times.”
