Hotel to home - Cyprus hotel transformed into Limassol Riviera houses

Londa, a 5-star boutique hotel located on the southern coast of Cyprus, is being transformed into luxury properties. The hotel first opened almost 40 years ago and since then it has built an admirable reputation amongst its guests.

In total 29 brand new homes that hope to emulate the same elegance as the prestigious hotel will be made available once the development is complete.

Matea Leko, marketing and sales director from Londa Residences explains: “Our luxury apartments promise a rare chance to own a limited edition home directly on the shores of the Mediterranean, in a rare and private area of Limassol offering a secluded oasis, while still located within Limassol’s buzzing centre.”

“For nearly 40 years Londa provided luxury beach holidays and hosted politicians, presidents, celebrities and some of the most influential families of Cyprus. By transforming our hotel into a limited number of high end residences with uninterrupted sea views, we are maximising the potential of this magnificent location. Honouring Limassol’s cultural landmarks and offering our future residents privacy and bespoke luxury for all senses in a place where the elite have slept, dined and drank their morning coffee.”

All about the transformation

York Capital Management and Elements Capital Management have invested in the new development. While architect, interior designer, and designer Thierry Lemaire and architect NMA aim to bring to life the riviera-style theme across all the homes.

Already 30% of the luxury homes are reserved, proving the properties have high expectations and level of interest. With a guide price of €2,000,000, the target market is international high net worth individuals.

What to expect from the properties

The highly anticipated apartments will form part of the Residences Collection. Penthouses with rooftops that have their own bar also form part of the transformation.

Residents will be able to enjoy the spa that includes a sauna, hammam, and gym, a 35-metre long terrace runs alongside the indoor swimming pool enclave for residents to relax in.

The designer and architect aim to implement open-plan living spaces that include corner sofas, marble-topped tables, fitted kitchens, and bathrooms that resemble a spa.

The two, three, or four-bedroom homes should overlook breath-taking views as all the homes are located on edge of the Mediterranean Sea.

Only four hours away from London, Moscow, and Dubai, Cyprus is an easy-to-reach holiday destination. Those who choose to invest in one of the luxurious properties will benefit from living close to restaurants, bars, boutiques, and Limassol Marina.

The developers aim to surround the properties with roughly 500 square metres of private gardens. The designers plan also to make use of this outdoor space by including local planting, landscaping, and vertical gardens.

Through the process of photosynthesis, plants take carbon dioxide from the air and water from the ground. One of the primary goals of incorporating so many plants into the land is to offset carbon emissions from vehicles.
