Property Experts, a Greater London developer, has launched its development Athena House in Horley, Surrey, exclusively on Instagram.

The development is a collection of 24 one and two-bedroom apartments designed in a contemporary style with open-plan spaces and some having private terraces. It is priced from £245,000.

The development is undergoing a phased released and 3 of the 24 available units at Athena House, a mixed-use development located on Horley High Street, are being made exclusively available on Instagram for seven days from Monday 13 September 2021. Interested purchasers will be able to arrange private first-look appointments at the in-situ show apartment.

Previously operating as a high street bank, the Athena House building has been repurposed as a residential development, with each of the apartments laid out and designed by the Property Experts interior style team.

The Athena House homes possess fully integrated magnet kitchens characterized by quartz worktops and tempered glass splashbacks. Pre-installed AEG appliances include fridge/freezer, hob, oven, microwave, washer/dryer and dishwasher. Additional items include an instant hot tap, Bluetooth soundbar built into the kitchen units and a wine fridge.

The bathrooms have Crosswater and Gebrit fittings, with white tiles and a geometric black and white floor design. Worcester Bosch boiler and heating systems have been installed, with solid veneered wood doors and there is also Amtico wood flooring.

Several homes benefit from terraces or outside space that has been newly constructed onto the building to improve its new function as a residential development. Residents will have access to a lift to all floors, private parking and cycle storage space, whilst a newly constructed main entrance and lobby welcomes visitors to Athena House.

Commenting on the launch, Bruce Burkitt, founder and managing director of Property Experts, said: “Athena House will be one of our most iconic projects to date, so we wanted to do something spectacular to launch the new apartments to the market. We have long been adopters of social media and know the power and influence it can have on the property sector. We actually secured the site after being contacted on Instagram so thought launching it exclusively on the platform would be the perfect way to bring the project full circle.”

Dean Honeycutt, from sales agents James Dean, commented: We have seen a steady rise in serious leads and even sales completions following various advertising campaigns using social, so we’re excited to see the results from launching a new development exclusively on Instagram, especially given the quality of the apartments. There are over 1 billion active users on the platform, with an average age of 25-34 years old, which perfectly matches the typical buyer demographic at this end of the market.”

Set to launch before the end of the year are two newly-built penthouse units that will be fitted onto the building’s rooftop. Situated on Horley High Street, the development is close to many shops, restaurants and amenities, including a large Waitrose store, which is a two-minute walk away.

The development also has strong transport links with Gatwick Airport being 10-minutes away, whilst central London can be reached in under 30-minutes from Horley Station.
