Glamour, glamour - luxury real estate agency opens new office in Saint Tropez

A leading super-prime real estate specialist, which describes itself as the agency of choice for ultra-high-net-worth individuals, has announced the opening of a new French office in Saint Tropez, one of the Cote d’Azur’s most famous locations.

Complimenting the agency’s existing main office in Cannes, the new Beauchamp Estates Saint Tropez branch is located in a prime position (2 Avenue du Maréchal Foch) on the Place des Lices, moments from Hotel Byblos.

It includes a newly refurbished white stucco and glass fronted boutique office and consultation space, where clients are able to view the area’s ‘finest sales and lettings instructions’, as well as discussing their property requirements. Covid-safe procedures are also in place.

The new office provides luxury sales, rental and property management services, alongside services to assist with both long and short stays, including housekeepers, chefs, private tours, cars and drivers, boat charter and private tutors.

The branch is set to form an important part of the Beauchamp Estates international network, which includes offices in London (Mayfair, Marylebone and St John’s Wood), Greece (Mykonos), Israel (Tel Aviv) and an associate office in the US (New York).

This is in addition to the well-established Cannes office, which is located moments from the Croisette.

The Saint Tropez opening occurs less than a year after the opening of the Tel Aviv office and is part of the group’s ongoing expansion which includes a desire for a USA West coast office and partners in South America and Asia.

The Beauchamp Estates St Tropez office will be headed by Elodie Marchi Capizzi, who joins Beauchamp Estates from Savills with over twelve years’ experience in sales and seasonal lettings.

A native of St Tropez, she graduated in Real Estate and is currently studying for a second degree in property valuation. The firm says her detailed knowledge of the local market will be invaluable to Beauchamp Estates’ clients, as they search for the ideal Cote d’Azur property to purchase or rent.

She will be supported by both Regis Ramette and Adrien Willing-Lamy, sales director and managing director respectively of Beauchamp Estates France.

Adrien Willing-Lamy said: “The French Riviera real estate market is made up of a series of luxury ‘micro-markets’, which span a not inconsiderable geographical area. The superb coastline and lifestyle add to the special charm of these sunny places and the reputation of locations such as Ramatuelle, Saint Tropez, Theoule-sur-Mer, Cannes, Mougins, Cap d'Antibes, Saint Jean Cap-Ferrat, Cap Martin and Monaco. Prime property in many of these areas remains scarce, ensuring a resilience in terms of price.”

He said that interest has increased across the region and Beauchamp wanted to ensure that it continued to provide clients with the very best and most efficient service. In order to deliver this a further office in the region was needed.

“Alongside our Cannes office, Saint Tropez is an excellent location since the Cote d’Azur coastline extends to 115 km (71 miles) and having offices in these pole locations will allow us to always be able to meet clients quickly.”

Willing-Lamy said that clients are particularly attracted by the sea. “They want to be as close to the water as possible, with enough land to be sheltered from the crowds, particularly if the property is not located right on the seafront. Saint-Tropez and surrounding areas boast spectacular villas, nestled in secluded locations with stupendous views on the Mediterranean Sea.”

The vacation rental market has started early this year, he added, with some clients already checked-in to villas. As well as rental periods being longer, those purchasing property are doing so with slightly increased budgets and a focus on buying a home offering high-quality outside space and outside living facilities.

“We are delighted to have Elodie as part of the Beauchamp Estates France team and have already received a number of exciting new instructions in the Saint Tropez area.”

Gary Hersham, founding director of Beauchamp Estates, said: “Beauchamp Estates has built an international reputation for excellence, established through hard work, high levels of customer service and attention to our clients’ needs.

The Cote d’Azur has long been a popular destination for many national and international clients and the opening of Beauchamp Estates Saint Tropez will enable us to continue to deliver the high standards of customer service across the Cote d’Azur that our clients expect.”

Known globally for their glamour, the Cote d’Azur and French Caps are described as being eternally and effortlessly chic, with a ‘joie de vivre’ that is the envy of the world.

Beauchamp Estates says the region offers an unparalleled lifestyle, with ‘superb coastline, beaches, and on average over 310 days of sunshine a year’.

Additionally, the region has a wide range of congress (convention) facilities and an international reputation for its social scene and nightlife.

Brigitte Bardot first put the small fishing town on the international map when she appeared in the 1956 film And God Created Woman. Since then, St Tropez has become a byword for international glamour: fans include Elton John, Ivana Trump, Joan Collins, Kate Moss, Jay-Z and Beyonce, Leonardo DiCaprio, Bono, Nicolas Sarkozy, Vanessa Paradis and Georgio Armani, with many choosing to purchase a permanent home in the region.
