Property sourcing – the best method for investors in Manchester?

Considered to be England’s second city by many, Manchester remains one of the key hotbeds for property investment, propelled by its well-regarded universities, thriving city centre, and its position as one of Europe’s biggest cultural and sporting hubs.

In a recent webinar, Sourcing Investments (SI), a marketplace for landlords and investors seeking the best-in-class investments in UK properties, provided information on the most lucrative areas in Manchester, which properties had the best yields and which postcodes were considered ‘no-go’ areas.

The SI Experience Webinar, which featured Dan Stafford, an on-the-ground property sourcing agent in Manchester, included a live area analysis and information on why investors should look to the North West city and how to achieve better results with property there.

SI says investing in a popular area based on brochures and statistics is ‘an unnecessarily risky business’. However, sourcing investments can help to put investors in touch with knowledgeable, local sources who will find the perfect property.

With sourcing investment, landlords and investors can be guided through the purchase process and assisted with work including building contracts, refurbishments and lettings.

SI’s next webinar on Manchester property investment takes place on Friday April 17 and will include topics such as:

  • Investing in Manchester to maximise property investment returns

  • Analysis of live and completed Manchester properties with a sourcing agent

  • Why some investors are getting investment wrong

  • The seven points of due diligence investors must make when looking at a deal

  • How investors can control all aspects of their property investments from afar

I’ve never considered manchester the 2nd city of England and I don’t know anyone who does

For time poor, cash rich investors working alongside a sourcing agent for property investments can simplify the process enabling them to be more focused with the time they have on worthwhile opportunities.

Being from the Birmingham area I'm also not sure I see Manchester as the 2nd city of England.
