TODAY'S OTHER NEWS

One of the UK's top property podcasts set to go live at event

The co-founders of The Property Podcast have announced dates for their first ever Property Hub Live event.

Rob Bence and Rob Dix started The Property Podcast to ‘demystify property investment at a time when property educators were charging thousands of pounds for making property seem more complicated than it is’.

Now, with seven years of podcasting under their belt, over eight million downloads and a community of over 70,000, they have decided to launch Property Hub Live to bring like-minded investors together for an educational day, combined with one of the UK’s biggest meetups.

“The response to this event so far has been phenomenal and we’ve only just revealed the details,” says Bence.

This comes at a time when the media glare on property educators is shining harshly, with BBC’s Inside Out programme recently causing a stir when it exposed some high-profile names and their training tactics aimed at the vulnerable.

“It felt like the right time to launch this,” continues Bence. “We’ve been planning Property Hub Live since long before the programme aired, and it reinforced just how important it was for those interested in property to come together and learn from experienced people without being sold to.”

“We’re taking the measured, anti-get-rich-quick approach that fans of our podcast have enjoyed for years and bringing it to a whole new interactive medium.”

Bence and Dix are also attempting a live recording of The Property Podcast on stage.

The agenda includes topics aimed at investor habits, mortgages, regeneration and real-life investor case studies. Key speakers have been confirmed and will be announced over the coming weeks.

Tickets are now available and the event takes place on April 30 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. For more information, visit https://propertyhub.net/events.

Around 80% of the tickets have already been sold, so investors are advised to book now to avoid missing out.
