Interest in luxury Cardiff home shows that crime doesn’t pay

A luxury five-bedroom house in Cardiff, seized from criminals under the Proceeds of Crime Act, was one of the highlights of Wilsons Auctions’ latest sale at its Newport branch in South Wales.

The modern detached house in St. Mellons, Cardiff, offered generous room sizes, including two reception rooms, spacious rear garden, master bedroom with ensuite as well as a conservatory, detached double garage and driveway with off-road parking. It sold for 5.7% higher than the guide price.

Also selling under the Proceeds of Crime Act was a two-storey, 932 sq. m commercial unit in the popular Capital Business Park, Cardiff. The highly sought-after property sold for 207% over the guide price.
