New mobile app to ‘simplify’ bridge between landlords and tenants

Inadash, a new mobile application for landlords and property agents, aims to ‘revolutionise and simplify’ the process of finding new tenants.

According to a recent study from industry experts, it can take renters an average of four weeks to enquire, book and view a place.

Landlords and property agents also need to find applicants, answer questions, book viewings, give existing tenants 24 hours viewing notice and then conduct the viewing itself. There is also the added risk that the potential tenant might not show, which equates to lost money.

With a separate 2016 study revealing that tenants have to contact up to seven agencies before finding the right place, Inadash aims to revolutionise what it calls an ‘outdated concept’ by connecting trusted agents with pre-qualified tenants, offering peace of mind for both parties.

The platform also gives renters the opportunity to search, view and rent a place within a few minutes – helping landlords and property agents to increase the number of viewings and reduce the time usually spent finding tenants.

Agents will need to register an available property via the app and say when they are planning or open to visiting it next. Inadash will then advertise the property as an ‘Open House’ to renters on the app, giving them the opportunity to instantly book a viewing directly with the agent.

Tenants can also browse through a wide selection of properties that are available at the time of the search – removing the risk of any time wasted enquiring for properties that have already been snapped up.

What’s more, every time an agent chooses the ‘Go Live’ feature, a notification is sent to all users with an eye on that property.

However, tenants will need to go through a series of qualifying questions before they book a viewing, meaning the agent only receives relevant applicants. After the viewing, tenants can then make an offer via the app, allowing both parties to move quickly.

Within its first year, Inadash has already partnered with the likes of Hamptons International, Century 21 and Remax, with more companies set to follow suit in 2019.

“Unlike other property apps, Inadash does not scrape websites looking to feature as many properties as possible. Instead, our ethos is to only provide high-quality properties that are currently available to our pool of pre-qualified tenants,” Drahim Hasula, chief executive of Inadash, said.

“Our goal is to reach a point where all properties and rooms are rented on-demand. We are here to be transparent, accelerate the rental market and provide the efficiency that the market needs.”

The Inadash team hopes to deliver more innovative features in the future. Its two apps – ‘Inadash Agent’ for property providers and ‘Inadash Find a Property’ for tenants – are both free to download on iOS for Apple iPhone and iPad. For more information, visit www.inadash.com.
