Bargain Black Country homes to go under the hammer this month

A Black Country family home with a guide price of just £5,000-plus is set to attract keen bidding at Bond Wolfe Auctions’ next sale.

Located at 65 Lowry Close in Willenhall, the three-bedroomed, end-terraced house has gas-fired central heating and UPVC double glazing. It stands back from the road behind a front garden, with a longer back garden containing a lean-to.

Another bargain lot in the auction is a two-bedroomed, semi-detached bungalow at 180 Warstones Road in the sought-after Wolverhampton suburb of Penn, which has a guide price of £25,000-plus.

The property stands back from the road behind a driveway and front garden, with an extensive garden to the rear, also boasting gas fired central heating and partial UPVC double glazing.

Gurpreet Bassi, chief executive of Bond Wolfe Auctions, comments: “While both homes may require some modernisation, the low price tags are likely to fire up some ferociously competitive bidding when they go under the hammer.”

“Both these properties offer huge potential, and I foresee strong interest from both young couples looking for a bargain first home and from property investors looking for their next project.”

The house and bungalow are just two of over 120 lots going under the hammer at the auctioneer’s next sale on Wednesday 23 October at 10:30am at the regular venue of the Holte Suite at Aston Villa FC.

Bond Wolfe Auctions has already offered 490 lots since launching in January this year, including properties across the East and West Midlands and as far afield as Wales and Scotland.

The first four auctions have raised £55 million in sales with an average success rate of 85.5% against the national average of 72%.
