New global free-to-list property portal Residential People recently hit its first milestone in securing 800 consumer property enquiries for estate agents in the last four weeks.

Currently live in seven countries around the world, (UK, UAE, South Africa, Bangladesh, India, Nigeria and Pakistan) with launches soon to be announced in Australia, Ireland, China and other countries across the Middle East; the ambitious portal is intent on disrupting the property sector’s status quo.

Residential People’s current trajectory in the UK is to hit 6,000 new property enquiries per month and bring the total number of agents’ listings to 1.6 million by the end of the year.

“The support we have had from agents across the UK so far has been fantastic, and we are confident that we will be able to continue to create an attractive value proposition as we gradually scale-up our business to support more agencies from across the UK and beyond,” says Chris May, co-founder and director of Residential People.

“In terms of value, our plus points are easy to see, we are a completely free-to-list portal and one that stays the same no matter how big or small an agent might be.”

Daniel Nulty, Manager at Open House Estate Agents, comments: “We have been thoroughly impressed by the number of leads generated since joining Residential People, and are proud to work alongside a company that aims to offer a unique product within the property sector.”

“We are greatly looking forward to continuing our partnership, and we can’t wait to see what the future holds.”
