Virtual reality property trading app Property Magnate has launched a number of new features in recent months to enhance its user experience.

Property Magnate, which launched in June 2018, claims to be the most realistic virtual reality property and investment trading game, and currently has nearly 500 players. It’s available for download on both the App Store and Google Play and was created to emulate the building of a real property portfolio on a virtual reality platform.

To do this, it uses real properties (under licence) from the Zoopla database and creates a real-life environment allowing gamers to search for, and purchase, real life residential and commercial property on a market created by the game. It aims to be both fun and educational for aspiring investors.

A number of new features have recently been launched to improve gamers’ property trading experience, including an ‘Invite a Friend’ function enabling gamers to invite their friends and family ‘to join in with the fun’. There is also an incentive to getting other people to play – if someone a gamer invites registers to play, the gamer receives £G100,000 credits to help grow their property empire.

In addition, gamers will now receive notifications within their dashboard to keep them updated on brand new features and upcoming competitions, while the ‘Sorting and Searching’ feature enables ‘My Properties For Sale’ to be sorted by date, value and offers. Lastly, the ‘Game Penalties and Wins’ feature sees daily and weekly credit prizes awarded and penalties charged on a postcode selected basis.

Property Magnate will soon be launching some more features, including a members area, a credit brokerage feature, a chat room, a property auction agent to allow gamers to both buy and sell properties through a timed auction, and an in-game bank where gamers will be able to borrow up to 50% of their portfolio value.
