Ideal Home Show reveals its line-up of property stars

The Ideal Home Show 2018, held at Olympia London from 17 March to 2 April, has announced its line-up of property experts.

The show, sponsored by Zoopla, will feature Phil Spencer, Charlie Luxton, Martin Roberts and Kunle Barker, giving visitors the benefit of their property knowledge and specialist areas of expertise. Providing tips and advice to the public, visitors can see them live at the show throughout the 17-day event on the Super Theatre stage.

With recent data from Zoopla revealing that the average price of a home in Britain went up in value by £9,652 during 2017, with each property increasing by £28 per day, the property market would appear to be in rude health. Given the current strength of the market, would-be homeowners and investors are being advised to spend wisely – whether that be on securing a dream home or looking to maximise their investments.

The celebrity property experts aim to help with that mission, with Phil Spencer answering questions in an exclusive Q&A session and sharing experiences of his hit TV shows Location, Location, Location and Love It or List It (currently showing on Channel 4).

Joining Phil Spencer will be agricultural designer and TV presenter Charlie Luxton, who will focus on sustainable architecture. Martin Roberts – one part of the Homes Under the Hammer presenting team and a former I’m a Celebrity contestant – will also be on hand to offer advice on buying property at auction, while Kunle Barker, property expert and presenter of ITV’s prime time Love Your Home & Garden, gives top tips to help homeowners realise the potential ‘hidden inside their bricks and mortar’.

What’s more, foodies are well-catered for at the event, with celebrity chefs and drinks industry experts taking to the ‘Foodie Stage and Drinks Station’ at the Eat & Drink Festival, which takes place alongside the Ideal Home Show.
