Erna Low Property launches new developments in French Alps

Erna Low Property has launched new developments in three French Alps ski resorts, all of which are in small villages part of huge ski areas.

The resorts are Chatel, which links to the Portes du Soleil; Vaujany, linking to Alpe d’Huez and soon-to-be linked to Les 2 Alpes; and Montalbert, which links to the Paradiski area of La Plagne and Les Arcs.

Chatel

Recently announced as the best value for money ski area, Chatel has two new developments from Erna Low Property.

The first, Residence Les Lodges De Celestin, is a brand new development located in the Linga area of Chatel and is close to the new Lings ski lift, offering 25 apartments ranging from one to four bedrooms from €179,000.

The residence has been designed in the traditional Savoyard style of the Vallee d’Abondance, boasting bright and large open plan living areas, contemporary interiors and a spacious 50m2 entrance hallway. Construction will be over two chalet style apartment buildings, which will benefit from the uninterrupted views over the surrounding mountains.

The second development, Les Versants, will comprise 24 one to four-bedroom modern apartments in three chalet buildings from €424,000.

Large terraces and attractive wood and stone finishes will feature in these, using locally sourced materials. These are scheduled to complete in 2020 with the option to redesign the apartment to clients’ specification. The development has been positioned to benefit from south-west views.

Vaujany

This small resort with huge development potential that taps into the bigger Grand Domaine ski area of Alpe d’Huez (and Les 2 Alpes in 2021) also has two new developments.

Le Saphir, the first development, will be constructed in an Alpine architectural style and the apartments will be finished in a contemporary fashion, keeping with the Savoyard aesthetic with real wood on the walls, floors and ceiling.

The Saphir can be purchased fully furnished and residents can benefit from private parking spaces, ski lockers and storage caves. They will also enjoy an undisturbed view of the valley and surrounding mountains from large, south-facing private balconies which extend from each living area. Prices range from €201,500-€357,500.

Meanwhile, Les Chalets des Etoiles will be a collection of just 12 luxury chalets, constructed in a traditional Alpine style to the latest construction standards. Only a few steps away from the main ski gondola of Vaujany, the chalets are within close proximity of the large swimming pool, ice skating rink and bowling facilities.

Ranging from 103-135m2 and with five or six bedrooms, these chalets will offer space, comfort and stunning views of the Grandes Rousses massif. Each property will benefit from open living space taking up an entire floor, a large private balcony and a private garage. Owners will be given the option to have a large input on the design, which will complement the wood and stone aesthetic of the chalet. Prices start from €559,000.

Montalbert

With access to the large Paradiski ski area of La Plagne and linking to Les Arcs, buyers can look forward to the Le Snoroc development.

This residence is an ideal location in Plagne Montalbert and sits right next to the slopes and the Fornelet gondola, making it a ski-in ski-out residence. The shops, bars and restaurants of the resort are also within walking distance.

Le Snoroc will comprise 65 apartments from one-bedroom cabins to three-bedroom apartments, with larger apartments created if required. Storage cellars, ski lockers with heated boot warmers and underground parking are also available to all residents and delivery is scheduled for Q4 2019.

The apartments will offer a lounge with a playroom, an indoor pool, a wellness area with a treatment room, a sauna, hammam and gym, as well as a full concierge service to all owners. Each apartment can be purchased as standard second homes or as a managed/leaseback property. Prices start from €254,000.
