Loveitts set to auction recently refurbished bungalow

A four-bed dormer bungalow will be auctioned next month by Midlands' estate agents Loveitts.

The agency, which operates in Coventry and Warwickshire, is offering eager house-hunters the chance to bid on the fully refurbished bungalow situated in the village of Moreton Morrell, South Warwickshire.

The village, surrounded by picturesque countryside, is often viewed as a perfect location for country-loving property buyers.

The home itself – known as 'The Laurels' – is found on the high-end estate of Moreton Paddox, which affords the occupier of the property total privacy.  The property is nestled in a discreet location, surrounded by trees and evergreens.

The Laurels, which has a guide price of between £595,000 and £625,000, includes part underfloor heating, tastefully tiled bathrooms, oil fired central heating and a fitted kitchen.

As a result, it is the stand-out lot in Loveitts' next property auction, being held at Coventry's Village Urban Resort Hotel in Dolomite Avenue (Thursday 8 February).

“Many people believe that you can only buy distressed properties at auctions, which is simply not the case,” Sally Smith, director and auction manager at Loveitts, said. “Auctions are also an excellent way to find privately located homes with all the finishing touches.”

“There are many reasons why home-owners choose to sell their properties at auction instead of the more traditional routes, however the main attraction is that it’s quicker and provides a good return,” she added. “It’s for this reason that we are seeing more and more luxury homes going under the hammer.”

The Laurels, which is positioned two-and-a-half miles west of the large Warwickshire village of Wellesbourne, offers easy access to the M40 and the Fosse Way. The historic parish of Moreton Morrell, meanwhile, is home to a number of local facilities including a pub, a primary school, a church and a tennis club.

“This really is a lovely property and we are confident it’s going to be snapped up at auction,” Smith said. “The owner has gone to a lot of effort to ensure the property is fully-refurbished to the highest standard and I know that many home-buyers will fall in love with all it has to offer.”
